Celyn Jones és un director, guionista i actor gal·lès format a l’Oxford School of Drama. Amb una àmplia trajectòria en cinema i televisió, va interpretar Dylan Thomas a Set Fire to the Stars (2014), de la qual també és coguionista, i va guanyar el BAFTA Cymru al millor actor per Manhunt. Va debutar en la direcció de llargmetratges amb The Almond and the Seahorse (2022), codirigida amb Tom Stern i protagonitzada al costat de Rebel Wilson i Charlotte Gainsbourg. Amb Madfabulous, retrata la vida extravagant de Henry Paget i la seva rebel·lia contra les convencions socials.

Con una amplia trayectoria en cine y televisión, interpretó a Dylan Thomas en Set Fire to the Stars (2014), de la que también es coguionista, y ganó el BAFTA Cymru al mejor actor por Manhunt. Debutó en la dirección de largometrajes con The Almond and the Seahorse (2022), codirigida con Tom Stern y protagonizada junto a Rebel Wilson y Charlotte Gainsbourg. Con Madfabulous, retrata la vida extravagante de Henry Paget y su rebeldía contra las convenciones sociales.

Celyn Jones is a Welsh director, screenwriter and actor who trained at the Oxford School of Drama. With an extensive career in film and television, he portrayed Dylan Thomas in Set Fire to the Stars (2014), which he also co-wrote, and won the BAFTA Cymru for Best Actor for Manhunt. He made his feature directorial debut with The Almond and the Seahorse (2022), co-directed with Tom Stern and starring alongside Rebel Wilson and Charlotte Gainsbourg. With Madfabulous, he portrays Henry Paget’s extravagant life and rebellion against social conventions.
